Screw It.

I'm ALL IN. It's Gundy.

I truly believe he will be our next coach. I have thought it through and think it all makes sense. IT WILL HAPPEN

No reason for him to NOT go on that recruiting trip. He's still employed by OSU and is likely giving them a final chance to up the ante to keep him there. Sounds like there's a decent chance they tell him to have fun in Knoxville.

I don't think he's interested. I don't have sources but I accidentally fell into a tiny nugget today. I know someone who knows one of Brohm's family members and spoke to them today. They said no interest. That's all I've got. May be nothing...

PSA all those against Tee Martin for HC just a heads up. The highest level of coaching Gundy had prior to job was OC for a few years. I’m not saying that’s a guarantee of success but I think we can do a lot worse than Tee if Gundy turns us down

STops by recruits house on the way home. Probably why they met in Dallas because he was going to be there anyway.

If I'm Gundy I'm going to TN.

Loses his star QB and WRs. We happen to have a few of those to work with and committed.

He can have a better defense at TN. He actually has an aggressive good defense for that conference compared to others. They force turnovers often per a broadcast inheard because they can't usually go man on man with those tempos. He can take that aggressiveness and input it with SEC caliber defensive ballers that they don't breed in his area.

Callaway wil be ridiculous in this offense

The fact that Kevin Sumlin is available might make OSU a little more likely to tell Gundy thanks for the 13 great seasons and have fun in Knoxville. He would take that job in a second and do really well there.

I work for a search firm, granted in Healthcare, but we deal with people making career decisions like this all the time.

By the time there is the face to face visit - you need to be ready to accept an offer.

The fact that he wasn't, and wants to take a day to think about it, is a MAJOR read flag.

If he was seriously considering - the discussions with family would have already happened.

Anytime someone needs 24 additional hours after a face to face visit - your chances fall to less than 5%.

Don't mean to be negative here, but I wouldn't get your hopes up on this.

You are not going to cancel recruiting visits, guys. You want to stay in contact with guys you want to play for you. He knows what to say. It would be out now from one of them saying he was staying.

I think this all happened very quickly. He probably got a phone call last night and told Currie to come talk to him today.

Yes, but he could have also accepted the job and asked Currie to wait before leaking it. Its the respectable thing to do so he can tell his team and not let them find out from a tweet

The moral of that story is he backed out on Bama bc he was promised that stuff by WVU. Once they didn't deliver, he bolted. They'd take him back in a heartbeat up here!!
