I think this is going to leak tonight one way or another. He'll either tell his team he's staying or going and we'll know immediately.

My guess is if he's leaving he'll tell people tonight.

If he's staying he may wait til the morning to tell UT.

Monroe County. Thanks but its not even worth it. My old lady hit a dog last Friday night ( not her fault wild dogs are in packs on our road) & tore the front clip to hell. YesterdAY the door hinge pins are officially wore out and went to start it this morning & wouldst start. I think its timing chain. The two weeks I was at parkwest my family lived off of the money we had saved. I start back to work tomorrow thankfully & got a trip to PA to see my 6 yr old son after Christmas. I don't have the holiday sspirit anymore. I just don't know how much more I can take.

You hang in there. I don't want to pry, but what do you do (work-wise)? I live in the area...

Let’s just hope Mikey doesn’t decide to watch an SEC game film to see what he would be working with. Quick. Someone send him GA Tech game film.

Assuming OK State doesn't raise his pay again after giving him a raise 6 months ago (and failing to beat OU with a brand new coach recently), Gundy turning us down means he would leave $42 million on the table over the next decade.

Likely more because he would get raises here that he wouldn't get at OSU. He has overplayed his hand there. That well is dying up, especially with T. Boone's age.

If he coaches here well into his 60s (essentially the same timeframe that he has been at OSU), that number rises to $60 million or more.

No state income tax here is a bonus

Charles Davis knew about the hire the day before based on his on-air statement. If the boosters stopped it, Currie would not have been at the table the next day signing an MOU unless Charles gets info before the guys that give the biggest donations. Doubtful.
I saw the online outrage-- Facebook, Twitter, the messageboards. People were blowing up Currie's mail, Politicians, people with signs protesting, our local press.

No way you bring that guy here. Fans should take a lot of credit.

Man come on...We don't matter?

Never said that. And I don't know what happens if those that truly got this stopped don't act. Maybe what the fans did was enough, maybe it would have taken even more. IDK. All I know is the pusher behind this has never cared in the past. History proves he/they don't give a sh!+ what the fans think. We re beneath them. This was about finally getting a guy you didn't get in the past. He just didn't see the wall he couldn't overcome on the front end.

That's "take care of your kids and your grand kids and your great-grand kids" money.

If he coaches here for 13 years (same time he has been at OSU), he would make $110 million without any raises.

Hope we get some good news tonight or in the morning. This is a great site but I’ve practically been living here for 2 weeks.

Maybe Mrs. Gundy wanted to see it leak, and then make sure no one rioted before moving her family here.

Lol, good point. Their son is social media savvy, obviously. He's probably telling them to hurry up and move and that they are going to be heroes in Knoxville and very, very rich.
