The only people who can effectuate change now are the big money donors not named Haslam. Somebody has to be the Alpha Dog in that pack and take on the fight. To date, they have shrunk from the challenge.

But once the jury convicts, the Feds will use lenient sentencing recommendations as leverage to get them to flip on Jimmy. He and Hazlewood have not been on the best terms throughout this.

Because the media has done Tennessee what favors? None. Some things just need to stay behind closed doors until the proper time. What is done in the darkness will be brought into the light. There is a right time to strike and a wrong time. Overplay your hand and you lose. Timing in things like this is critical.

Devil's advocate:

Exile has been more straight forward than most. Maybe the info he has is best left unsaid bc if it were to go public at the wrong time, could cause more damage to the university or lose it's leverage (maybe it's an ace up the sleeve)
There have been a few times in my life I was angry bc I wasn't let in on information I thought I was entitled to only to find out later I was either (A)more upset that I knew and wished I didn't or (B) the info was completely opposite then what I had conjured it up to be.
Lack of clarity stinks but is sometimes necessary. You have your right to be upset, but maybe consider that he is sharing he knows things that are damning to Haslam/Currie to give us some hope things are looking up.

If anyone is taking to social media, especially Twitter, for influence, make sure to use #FireCurrie and #SaveUT. Spread the word. A unified voice goes a long way as we saw on Sunday. I've worked with social media groups who track the mentions and if everyone uses different mentions, doesn't always show up as impactful via their reporting metrics.
