I think you're a good dude, and do believe you. However, as just witnessed, the masses move the needle, our big boys got outplayed, outmaneuvered, and blindsided onto their hind quarters.

I want to have faith in the big donors, but short of Ergen saying I'll spend whatever it takes to bury the Haslam's I truly believe the Haslam tentacles reach too far.

I made my living by going into companies and telling their upper management who were earning 7 figures that they were incompetent and lazy and would prove it to them. I am retired at 40. I don't play the game I create and make my own that will allow the other side to either hang themselves, or, get on board. How do we hang the Haslam's, or get them on board?

My personal opinion is that we cannot get them on board, therefore terminating their influence with the program is the only alternative.

Most people dont like chaos. The longer a chaotic situation goes on, the quicker they are to accept something to make it stop. They are creatures of habit who like homeostasis.

Look on the Gundy board, "who cares what it cost, we have a big name, get it done now". They would have never settled for Gundy at $8M a few days ago. The fan base would've revolted. Put them in a chaotic state for a few days though, and they are willing to accept something they previously would not.

People have to fight against their nature of getting back to homeostasis and let this play out a little longer. Short term pain for long term gain.

I think a lot of people would have been happy with Gundy a few days ago. I just don't think anyone ever thought he was a realistic option. I agree $8M is crazy though.

I think we all agree there is something rotten in Denmark. However, uniting a large group of people against a common enemy is not something that can be accomplished by saying people have bad stuff on a prominent booster and or admin. We all United Sunday because we could see the obvious injustice. I’m not prying because if it is a horrible as you say, then things would be better served working out privately, but it is is hard to rally people around a cause they are told exists without actually seeing it.

I will continue to email and push for Curries removal on the basis of gross ineptitude. If it’s deeper than that, well, I hope one of the channels that be decide air out the dirty laundry and become a whistleblower.

Okay, you are getting a little close to the ledge. And beyond over dramatic.

And, you don't have much credibility. You were on of those self-proclaimed "insiders" who repeatedly assured us that "the deal is 100% signed." Well, you were wrong, to put it nicely.

Now, you have this "explosive news" that you won't share. Seems to me to be more of the same BS, and your Chicken Little hand waiving and finger pointing is beyond old.

I have sent multiple emails to the administration. So have many others on here. They know where the fan base stands. To continue flooding their in boxes with the same emails over and over will only serve to turn them off from even listening.

The only people who can effectuate change now are the big money donors not named Haslam. Somebody has to be the Alpha Dog in that pack and take on the fight. To date, they have shrunk from the challenge.

So, in light of today's revelation that JH's voice was heard on wiretap recordings in Federal court in a training session discussing the operational tactics of running the rebate scam, surely it just got A LOT easier for other boosters to wrest power away from him, ergo move Currie out sooner rather than later. Would you both agree that this situation will expedite matters?

ONLY if Haslam goes down. If he manages to wriggle out of it, nothing changes. He has not been indicted yet. Still could be, but it may be too late for it to benefit UT. The longer it takes, the more he can maneuver and pull strings and levers and get his people in place to do his bidding if/when he has to step away.

I just disagree with your tactics. I have no intentions of rolling over. But it’s not Gundy’s fault. Surely we can think of creative ways of getting rid of Currie/Haslam without hurting Gundy.

No one is talking about hurting Gundy. Last I saw, he recently got a nice extension at OSU. This is entirely about FIRE BEFORE HIRE.
