The OSU reporter on Finebaum just said he leans toward him staying slightly. He said this is the first time the school actually believes he may leave. He doesn't get along with his AD. Pickens involvement overblown, he is 87. Relationship with AD will be a deciding factor

I really think what others have said is true.

He’ll go back to Pickens and say TN has offered 6-8, whatever it is. It will then depend on what OSU is willing to do. If they’ll give him a big raise, he’ll stay. If not, he’ll come to Knoxville.

Do you want to win a national championship Mike? You aren’t going to do it there with classes ranked in the 40s. Come to Knoxville

Also said we may know more here in a couple of hours once Gundy starts talking back with people in Stillwater. Has a recruiting trip set up later today in the Dallas metro area.

He didn't even take an interview with Florida.

I think they have a shot. I think this is the first time that Gundy is really considering moving. I don't think this is some leverage move out of Gundy.

Now the longer it does the more doubtful it would seem to me. Remember, his family is there. Including parents, etc.

But, I don't think this is some deal of UT getting played.

Also I still say he's a guy who wouldn't want his team to find out on Twitter. If there's good news we'll see a team meeting tonight or tomorrow before anything serious breaks.

Like I said earlier, money talks. I refuse to believe that UT can't find a good coach willing to take on all the extra challenges that come with the job for the right price. I will just believe it when I see it that the UT AD is ready to pony up.
