Per my information, after the fiasco on Sunday DiPietro and Davenport stepped in and asked Fulmer and Peyton to run this search.
Currie will not be fired and is very valuable when it comes to structuring the contracts and raising the funds.
If this Gundy stuff sticks, we all need to write thank you letters to Phil.
Currie was a prideful man who thought he could do it all alone and without the Power T. He was very wrong.
I'm willing to let him learn from this IF we land Gundy and IF he includes the soul of our beloved team in everything he touches from here on out.
...Just so long as he doesn't think that will work here...
I am not against the occasional 2 and 3 star players that he thinks he can coach up, but he should be able to get at least into the top 15, if not higher.
