Well we are conducting this coaching search in reverse.

Complete with Feldman tweeting that sources are telling him we are after a list of Gundy, Brohm and Doeren, like reporters do for normal coaching searches. Bahama John seems to have stopped playing inspector gadget.

I'm no insider on the coaching front by any means. However, my brother was a GA under Gundy for 2 years. Dez Bryants sophomore and junior seasons.

I visited a couple of times and will tell you that of Gundy can do what he's done in Stillwater, then he could absolutely do it here. Stillwater is a cool small town about an hour outside of OKC. Not a whole lot there at all. If he can get guys there and have success, then I believe with the resources here he would be a home run hire.

Only met him once on my visit, but between my interaction and my brothers time there, not a bad word was mentioned of him.

Mind you, because he's been so loyal to OK state, t Boone has paid him like a mid level coach. There's tension there.

* people saying things about giving up points. When you run the offense he does, you're going to give up a few points because the defense is out there more often. Not sure if he would bring his guy or not, but with sec talent, we could have a pretty solid D.

Dave Doeren is a joke. Mediocre team despite having a loaded D this year and his hissy fit after the Clemson game this year was embarrassing.

Tennessee is hoping/scheduled to get face to face with gundy today.

We are aware of a ut plane that is supposedly scheduled to go to Stillwater.

As we noted in the earlier update they have spoken by phone but not face to face as of earlier today
