Amazing how many “leaks” we’re getting now after two weeks of guessing. There were essentially no mutually confirmed talks for the last two weeks, yet now we have at least Cutcliffe and Gundy all over the news.

The first rule of secret keeping is you can’t tell others you have a secret. If you say you have a secret and don’t share, no one believes you. Either keep it to yourself or bring it on. I personally don’t think this is the time to keep secrets if what is rumored to have transpired took place. We are already reduced to ashes. Let’s get rid of the ones responsible and try to rebuild. Just my 2 cents

If he were underestimating their competence that would mean they were more competent than he though...and we all know that isn't possible.

We were told this is the same group from 2012 and they have five years to plan and get ready for this and now they were far more organized and understood what and how to accomplish this......

If that is true....... I would say they are 0-2

Atlanta, Beave, Sara Clark.....if there is solid proof that we had Jon Gruden on the hook, why can't somebody just take it to a reputable news source. Looks like to me if we can show the public that indeed Currie and Haslam wrecked the Gruden deal, all hell would break loose and change would be demanded. Because of the media puppets, most Vol fans don't believe that we were serious about Gruden. Put it all out there in display and the public goes Ape **** on Haslam and Currie?

Asked this yesterday; never really got an answer, so I'll try again. I simply don't have the time to read back over literally thousands of posts.


- Has Jon Gruden ever stated he was or was not interested in the job this time?
- Is there are real info that UT did or did not reach out to him?
- Anything on MNF last night?


Thanks. Just curious as to whether or not Gruden was, is, or even might be a legitimate candidate any more.

I questioned Haslams role in this from the beginning! He was never to be trusted! How could you all be so foolish? He should have been locked in a room while you went and did business - and Currie is his hand picked puppet we all knew that too.

John Feinstein just brought up TN fans reactions to Schiano based on the Penn St stuff. He ended with asking if we would have reacted the same way if Gruden had been at Penn St at the same time and we would have offered him.

If Gruden had been associated with PSU during that time then we wouldn't have wanted him in the first place.
His question is moot.
