Hate to say it, cuz I'm on your side, but I think you mean underestimating their competence... or at least the level to which they are willing to fight. Cuz it sure looks like we are losing or have lost this war.
"Everyone" underestimated Haslem's dominant influence, which meant "Everyone" was destined to lose before they started. Oddly, if public pressure can be applied now to drag the Haslem name and UT leadership across the flaming landfill that currently exists, then this might work out acceptably.
So I guess "These guys that don't lose" now have a blemish on their record huh?
Smh
I have some info that I am trying to get permission to share. It absolutely 100% confirms Haslams involvement and that he is trying to do damage control. Please Vol Nation do not let up !!!
Everyone including ATL was blindsided by Haslam and Curries actions. My biggest mistake was underestimating their incompetence.
Asked this yesterday; never really got an answer, so I'll try again. I simply don't have the time to read back over literally thousands of posts.
- Has Jon Gruden ever stated he was or was not interested in the job this time?
- Is there are real info that UT did or did not reach out to him?
- Anything on MNF last night?
Thanks. Just curious as to whether or not Gruden was, is, or even might be a legitimate candidate any more.
Go Vols.
nor their perseverance.... They have been wrong a long time but they have won a long time as well... The one thing i tried to question you about in the beginning and you called me unstable was who or what real power do you have on your side...
I warned you and anyone that would listen that the haslams would not go down easy but you kept saying it was "done" and "these people never loose"...
I do not know you, but you may have been the arrogant one in this case!
John Feinstein just brought up TN fans reactions to Schiano based on the Penn St stuff. He ended with asking if we would have reacted the same way if Gruden had been at Penn St at the same time and we would have offered him.
