If Currie tries to get another Schiano level guy he won't survive the day he drags them to the podium. He shouldn't be allowed to keep his job as it stands now just for trying to get Schiano in Ktown. This isn't really about what happened at PSU, but just from how he treated his players everywhere he's coached/coordinated, Rutgers, TB, etc. He has a terrible record as far as W/L goes. He is cut from the same cloth as Butch when it comes to "bedside manners" and being a control freak. Besides that, while everybody in the media is blasting UT and its fans for pushing back on the hiring Schiano, but who else is going after him? NOBODY. We dodged a bullet and we should be proud that we helped influence this decision, but the battle is not over. Currie is next. Without a Gruden-type hire, I don't see how he can keep his job, not in knowing how powerful the fanbase, boosters, and UT alumni when they come together to express their distaste for Butch 2.0

How is the house cleaning going?

Have they hired this guy yet?

Now is not the time to worry about hiring a coach. It's up to us to see to it Currie is removed. Then, we can proceed with a coaching hire. First things first, start sending emails and calling again....we cannot let up now, we have to drive this home. CURRIE fired, Haslam removed from the search committee! Send those emails, doesn't matter if you have already sent them.....Send again!

Very true Sara Clark. There is no way Currie should be allowed to even be employed, much less being involved with this hire. He has to go first then we can hire our coach.

Prepare yourself. This is exactly what I see happening. They are too stupid to go out and find a real coach. I am sure Currie and Haslam are thinking that the fan bases wont go postal again.

So we can't even get Cutcliffe? I have no clue what's happening. I choose to think it's because he's up in years and settled but that could just be wishful thinking.

We have to continue to put pressure on them Tasty! We cannot have a coaching search with this disease at the helm. A top tier coach will not come with Currie as AD!

Great. Lane Frickin Kiffin.

I can't believe so many are good with this.

I guess it was bound to happen since they tried to ram Schiano, of all people down our throats. The fan base has become desperate. I'm not hearing of any other University who has interest in Kiffin there is a reason for that....huge gamble.

David is in a perfect spot for him. Moderate success, no expectations and little pressure. He has had heart issues in the past and I believe he is happy where he is and he deserves that. He does not want or need the stress of the Tennessee job.
