At this point us fans shouldn't accept anything less than gruden. The utad has made us look like idiots that we actually thought gruden was possible. We shouldn't allow these people to make us accept less, the latest fiasco shows us what they think of us, we should make them make gruden say no 10 times before we stop protesting any other hire.

Have we not had the consolation prize long enough?

I have never read where he said something was going to happen 100%. He has relayed what he was told to inform us who are interested. Personally, it is up to us to decide if we buy into what someone says. No one said this forum was the gospel, nor has it ever been portrayed as such. My reason for coming here is for entertainment and the small chance that I hear something firsthand. So just trot your sad little self to another topic or stay out all together.

Just ignore the person? I don’t see a reason to go back and forth with people just to see if they’re legit. A lot of info on here is usually exaggerated so take everything with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately for us Haslam owns everyone from the Gov mansion, the BOT, the UT President, the Chancellor, the AD, and everyone in between. The Gov will be the next UT President.

Sexton owns all the potential clients (and UT).

This is all extremely dirty. I have no faith that this can be fixed. Who do you appeal to?

Probably the only chance UT has is for one of the execs at Pilot to sing during the investigation. I hate to be so pessimistic, but if you see another way out Id like to hear it.

Thanks but not worried about him. Anyone coming in here trying to call me out after the **** show yesterday is just sad. It's not about me or exile or anyone else. It's about the program. Not going to lie, but I was told of some disgusting news tonight. I cannot and will not repeat. It has really hit me how bad the AD is, worse than I thought. I was very optimistic earlier. Now just here. Like Parker said, don't let up tomorrow. Keep it going. I told someone earlier I wish I never said 100% because of Haslam. I take it back. I am glad I said it, it was true and factual. Gruden signed and was going to be our next coach. How it went down is just depressing heartbreaking for so many people, the town, and region. With that I am going to sleep.

This seems like the perfect storm that would have to have happened in order for the fanbase to be able to stomach Lane Kiffin. I'll admit I would've been ok with it in the first place. (He was 5th on my list) But this is nuts.

As fun as this all was Gruden was never going to coach college football. If he was I'd like to believe it would be here.

We need to hire Lane Kiffin.

I hate to say it, and I thought everyone would understand this by now...

Gruden was the smokescreen set up by Currie, Haslams, etc. His name was out there as a procedural move and the grumors provided the perfect cover for Currie to perform this covert operation without his own co-workers knowing.
