Unfortunately if Currie was gonna get the ax, it would’ve already happened. Hubbs reporting he could be in Dallas currently.

Don’t see him resigning either. Hope Atlanta and company make something happen rather quickly.

Please tell me he is not interviewing Chad Morris

Welp Hubbs and co saying Haslams still in charge of search and hasn't heart that Currie will lose his job- oh Currie has a 5 million dollar buyout too😡😡😡

SMDH Jesus Tap Dancing Christ......Of course he has a 5 million dollar buyout....it's called insurance..to keep your puppet in place....lol

Thanks for that compliment. I've just been trying to put the pieces together and sort out the wheat from the chaff. I think I've pretty much figured out who to trust and who to dismiss. I've got more of a Clint Eastwood/Woodrow Call (Lonesome Dove) personality when faced with rude and stupid people and bullies, even internet bullies. If I don't ignore them, I'm likely to say something I shouldn't. You are far more gracious. I commend you for that. I also have the utmost respect for you for standing up for what you believe.

Thanks. I do appreciate that. I've been trying to harmonize what I was told on the 14th with the other events that have come to light since yesterday. The situation as I'm seeing it is almost unimaginably bad. I've been discussing with friends who are of like mind, and it's just supremely, soul-crushingly depressing for all of us.

I posted this in a rant in another thread where some dude decided to tell everyone that UT was finished and we’d never get a good coach thanks to our stupid fan base. I disagreed. I just wanted to share. Right now I’m so fired up. Screw ESPN, the national media, Herbstreit, Tuberville, and anyone else who thinks we should be happy getting mediocrity. I’m f$&cking sick of it! Friends texts msg me telling me that we’re delusional for thinking UT is a destination school....

Us fans were tired of being walked on. I believe this was much more about being served a plate of horse crap when we thought we made it clear we were through eatIng that s$@t! The Penn St stuff allowed the protest to be legitimate but make no mistake, this fan base is tired of passing on a bunch of qualified, desirable coaches for our AD to reach way down the list to satisfy the “few” elite and piss on the masses.

I’m proud we were finally heard. Thank you to those who physically participated

Just ask the man!!!! Just ask Gruden for crying out loud...if he says "let's get this done!" see how quickly Currie and Bev get purged from the system...I believe the guys who say it was a done deal...the ones who were blindsided by Currie and the Haslam train. So just friggin' ask him again!! Beg him...Obviously we had the money...tell him to overlook the ones on their way out...for God's sake get ol' Phil to ask him!! Somebody just ask him at a presser for MNF...just say "hey bro!!! You want the job??" See what friggin' happens!!!

Ya’ll know I wanted Gruden with every fiber of my being, but how long are we supposed to wait for Currie/Haslam to get gone? If that’s the hold up on Gruden, do we really think we can wish that kind of power away with any kind of quickness?

If it’s true that Ergan and Co. has been working on besting Haslam with Gruden for 5 years, and they did Schiano anyway, are we then thinking Currie/Haslam didn’t foresee the other boosters getting pissed? Surely they knew people would be mad, right?

That’s that part that troubles me. They had to know people would be pissed and they didn’t care. That tells me they have enough money to not care about other Boosters.

Exactly what I’ve been saying. This fiasco is a serious black eye on the university and administration whether we want to believe it or not. I sent emails and signed the petitions too but I’m looking at this without my orange shades on and the national perception of this is an unprecedented revolt by fans that didn’t agree with a hire. Do any of you think any other decent coach is gonna take that same risk? This set us back years, maybe decades, or quite possibly killed this program. Fans did the right thing but this is not gonna end well.

Maybe it was already over, before it started, for the hapless Vol football program........destiny... or self induced misery, regardless, the Vols are almost dead, due solely to the inept leaders at UT:cray:

I agree Exile. You can't just point to one thing as the reason. The most glaring thing for me is what former Bucs players stated. That he propagated an "atmosphere of fear" in the locker room. We certainly didn't/don't need another KJJ.

Hope your wife had a good day today, my friend.

What crow? Please link where I said anyone was definitely coming. You are just crying like a ***** and throwing a tantrum about all of this and your anger is misguided. Your anger should go to the clowns that tried to trot Greg ****ing Schiano out there and sell him as gold. And please, you are a walking vagina if you are measuring your "manhood" by whether or not you post in a particular thread on a message board.

Actually I’m not angry at all. I’m the one being attacked because you kids are angry. Sadly, I have come to expect nothing less from UT. Let down yes, surprised no. No tantrum anywhere that I saw. I was called a dumbass for no good reason and have been fairly respectful with my responses. I have no need to measure my manhood. I’m all means of life I take my **** and apologize if need be, this time included. I hope you guys do to. You guys are the angry ones because deep down you know this 5 year dream has always been a crock. Hope you ladies had a great Monday. Not sure what you meant by measuring, but it’s only average if you were asking.

I think the whole Ergen five year plan was a big lie that we all believed. Actions since Sunday sure don't appear like anything of the sort. Haslam has all the control and still does as if now.

If the 3.5M / year to the White Carp is true, we aren't paying enough to land anyone capable of turning this mess around. Cheap ass TN as always.
