Fire Currie. Yesterday.

I sear I can’t even go out in public here because of the mess he has made.
His name shouldn’t even have been brought up.
I am constantly and couldn’t be proud our fans, boosters, and your state reps for getting it stoped.
Like I tell them we have morals regardless of the AD and HoH.

Did this really happen?

Yea, so you think everyone here got together and made all this chit up expecting you to believe it, but you don't believe it but you don't think it's made up because you can't make this chit up. WTF?

And I promise you there were way more than two people laughing at you. But I know you don't care. That's why you mentioned it, because you don't care.

Forgive me for believing that a few people got together and brokered a multi million dollar deal without the knowledge of the only people allowed to approve the deal. And when when the AD was approached with a deal that would instantly propel the University of Tennessee to the forefront of the sports world he says no thanks im gonna get Greg Schiano.

Yeah, im gonna need a bit more than a few soon post and Gruden saying rocky top on the radio to believe that. Laugh all you want.

One thing I'd love to know from those with knowledge (sorry if already asked/answered, I'm still getting caught up) about the inner workings.

Why is Currie still in a job today? It appears there's a serious game of musical chairs going on in K-Town at the moment and Currie's about to not have a seat. Davenport is hanging him out to dry, boosters are (probably) pissed as hell and getting out the skinning kits at the moment.

Is there no way of doing a "no confidence" removal or something along those lines? And if it's been done, why hasn't it been announced?

I’ve really grown to admire him. We’ve been dm’ing back and forth. I’m convinced the snarky, immature Beav in the beginning was either alcohol or an act or a little of both. But this guy really is looking out for TN. He said “we are working hard on number 1 and 2 from what i posted last night” when we talked.

As you know I felt (and still do) that he was not completely honest in the beginning or maybe he was just trying to sell us I'm unsure..... But I certainly appreciate his tenacity ..........

So long time lurker on here and finally decided to join. I think I've kept up for the most part and just want to say thanks to all that bring honest info and I feel like I've seen enough to know who those are. I don't claim to be an insider nor have any insider connections, just friends of friends who may be, and everything I have gathered from them lines up with ATL and no one on the other side of the aisle so to speak even knew anything about this Schiano deal until it all came out yesterday. Like I said I'm no insider and not joining now acting like I've been on here for years, but just glad to finally join there seems to be a lot of passionate Vol fans and very respectable people I wouldn't mind conversing with from time to time.

given the current state of the Vols program, the skills that would be needed to stabilize, rebuild, and elevate the program might just be way above TM's ability at this point in his coaching career.

that's about as polite as i could be.

I'm all about Gruden.... but isn't that his weakness as well? Actually running a college program? At least Tee has been an OC of a strong one (and runs #10 offense).

The coach search is the same as recruiting. Out of nowhere a 3* recruit commits and the names we want, talk up, and think we can get end up at other schools. We will have a 3* coach with a 4* heart.
