Don't know if you all seen 99gators post but here it is .

But, it was also about Pearl, Cuonzo and Tyndall.
It was about Delmonico, Raleigh and Serrano.
It was about the tragic end of the Pat Summit era and watching that program slowly be just another SEC team under Holly. A good team for sure, but not what once was.
It was about an athletic program that arguably is currently inferior to Vanderbilt.
It was about finishing 13th overall in the SEC men's all-sports standings for 2016-17. It's about not producing a men's SEC championship team since 2011 men's tennis.
It was about an athletic program that has failed and disappointed time and again. And through it all, people continued to cheer, support, travel, pay and hope.....only to be lied to, let down, and forced to endure.
But, this time would be different. The President of the school changed. The athletic director changed. All of the past failure was well documented. It could not be repeated. It would not be repeated. This time it was going to be different.
And then it wasn't.
And the people, who only have their voices, stood up and said "hell no". As many have pointed out, it united this fan base like nothing else in a decade. Everyone agreed. Everyone had enough. "Hell no". In a matter of a few hours, the push back was so strong that those in power had no choice but to listen.
I know that Tennessee fans are catching hell in some places, but I can only put myself in your shoes and say "I get it".
The leg work was being done by the boosters.
Honestly though, and hear me out here, I would be okay with that if it meant that we had a coach here for more than just 3 or 4 years, which I think every rational, and even most irrational fans, would understand that it would take a few years of him learning on the job. Furthermore, if it meant that we could finally get someone in here with ties to the university, someone who gets our passion, and someone who can recruit and would be smart enough to surround himself with experienced assistants, I would be all for it. Sadly though, I truly foresee us going with a Brohm, Bobo, or someone of that caliber because Currie will be too scared to roll the dice on Tee.
Boosters were pushing for Gruden. I am not sure about Peterson and where it came from at the moment. It wouldn't surprise if it was bs. I don't know Gruden personally. Obvious reason was yesterday why everyone was so secretive. When I said 100%. I still had a bit doubt, because of Haslam. 2nd time he has done this. Who put Haslam in as AD when it was supposed to be Blackburn? Who do the BOT answer to? There are your answers to why I think it was probably Schiano the whole time for Currie, while smiling at the boosters for Gruden.
Gruden is a dramma queen with how he never said no flat out I will never coach Ut . Instead he went on Seattle raidio singing rockey top. What a sissy. Just say you love rockey top and all, But Im happy doing my job. Give that brat a pacifier stupid doll
Pressure stops the bleeding. Figuratively and literally.Need someone to stop the bleeding.
Sara. This is the same narrative that was payed out in 2012. I want Gruden. But Exile has a soap opre. Knuck says his source are not one either side, but can't tell where they are from.
I believe this is screwed up. But yesterday our University of Tennessee all but hired someone else. NO WAY if they had Gruden, Kelly, FROST etc this would happen.
Something's got to give. Go ahead knuck send me your insults.
One thought I cant get away from when considering how successful Tee could be as our coach is this:
After PM graduated and Tee took the reigns no one would have believed we had a shot at a National Championship but he did it. Dude is a winner and has passion for UT.
I would be much more comfortable with him as coach in waiting behind Gruden for a few years but I will take him over Brohm or coach McGoogle all day.

I watched a man offer TN tickets the other night to ANY vet who sent him an email asking for tickets. Be mindful, he wasn't offering to just a couple of people he opened it up to all vets. Then he included people with small children. I watched a young lady in distress Saturday because UPS got the order mixed up and her tickets wouldn't be delivered till Monday. He made a call to UT and had tickets waiting on her at the gate...mind you, in Terrace seating. Ask yourself what kind of pull he must have to get endless tickets, much less terrace. He came here this a.m and left a message. Then I had a call with someone else, I'm on board completely. If I ever think for one minute anyone is being fooled, I have NO issues calling them out. I believe! With that said, the clock is running, we cannot under any terms allow Currie to make this hire. He's a snake in the grass along with Haslam. The only area I disagree with people on is that it HAD to be more than just the two to pull off this big of a lie to boosters.
Technically everyone in the AD reports to Currie but it is not quite like a normal reporting structure. The assistant ADs are fielding calls from from boosters. Account reps are dealing with lower tier donors. Condredge has been getting calls as well. That entire staff has been getting their asses handed to them today. I didnt say the nuclear option was off the table but you have to be careful it doesnt become a paper tiger. If every time something doesnt go our way and we threaten to take our money and go home we look like spoiled children. Playing that card means walking away from years of investment. It is a break the glass type thing and Im not sure it will be needed for what unfolds next. Last night was a react right now issue that had to be stopped immediately. Removing John then Bev will be much more calculated and maybe even a drawn out process. I know many would love to just reset with the right people tomorrow but it will not be that easy. One thing that separates people in power is they usually have a strong will to win and they know most people dont have the guts to pursue long term pressure. Bottom line is they know weak willed people quit. That is why I am saying the pressure has to be constant and we have to commit to it long term.
