I am going to a SEC Championship party on Saturday in Atlanta

1) who do I cheer for
2) Am I mentally prepared for the barrage of insults that will fly about UT? (I will be the only UT fan there)

If you want this to work and I have defended and promoted this cause all day then somebody needs to give us something to latch on to.

Their needs to be an actual person leading the charge a face to put with the voice or people are just going to get bored or give up bc ultimately nothing has been done other then Currie releasing his condescending statement and Davenports support for him.

Also, reports have to start leaking more information. Where’s Hargis? How about some investigative journalism.

I feel it's kind of hard to adequately protest and write letters when all this stuff is so cloak and dagger. Most fans have no idea what is happening behind the scenes.

I honestly believe AV may have had something to do with the leak. Read his post on how and when he found out about the deal.

We don't need a coach that is hard to push out though. That is the kind of crap that led us where we are. UT likes mediocrity, that much is apparent.

He didn't find out about it until Currie was already there. The info came out when Currie was in the air, before he landed.

Don't try to attribute this to AV. You've immortalized him enough

I completely agree. I read somewhere (sorry can’t remember where) it may have been the assistant AD.

I can't help but believe the good list / top men / comments were nothing more than wishful thinking at this point. Boosters may have been pursuing a stellar hire, but I don't believe for a second that UT was. Stellar hires can dictate terms, all they want (and have ever wanted at UT) is a lackey "yes man" that might get them to a bowl.

Boosters were pushing for Gruden. I am not sure about Peterson and where it came from at the moment. It wouldn't surprise if it was bs. I don't know Gruden personally. Obvious reason was yesterday why everyone was so secretive. When I said 100%. I still had a bit doubt, because of Haslam. 2nd time he has done this. Who put Haslam in as AD when it was supposed to be Blackburn? Who do the BOT answer to? There are your answers to why I think it was probably Schiano the whole time for Currie, while smiling at the boosters for Gruden.

You cheer for Auburn, duh, and you say "Yeah I get it. We suck. The SEC is more fun when we're all better. Congratulations on knocking out Bama, we can all agree on that right?"
