Memeber that time a Kevin Steele defense gave up 70 points to a mike leach protege? Clemson members

Ditzy Bev prolly forgot to sign them, but she still needs to act like Q and fire our James Bond-wannabe AD.

No, I think she was the first one aware of the backlash and held off. I'm not saying she pulled the plug but it appears she delayed long enough for someone else to do it for her.

Nobody bringing up Schiano shady stuff at Tampa diving at knees, calling a to, doing it again, treating players like children, grown professional men hate his ass. How is that gonna compete for recruits? Clay only media bringing this stuff up

The national guys gloss over that stuff. Also they omit all the shady stuff with his players. He's a pos person and anyone that signed off on that literally or figuratively are incompetent fools. They should never be able to make a decision again even what toilet paper is used in the complex.

National Media 2013:

“Greg Schiano is not only a mediocre football coach but he is also a slightly bad human being. Schianos players hated him and they said playing for him was like playing for communist cuba.”

National Media 2017:

“Greg Schiano is not only one of the best football coaches on the planet but he is also one of the best human beings ever. UT should be ashamed in themselves for not wanting a great HC.”

(Not real quotes for the people that can’t read sarcasm)

Probably couldn’t remember where she parked and didn’t make it back to the office before the Twitter mob set it a blaze.

What are you talking about she doesn't drive lol. Her driver probably had to take a leak and went into a pilot to piss causing her to be late

Talked to someone today and the AD is a freaking mess. Finger pointing and wondering what is going to happen next. Scrambling to make a hire and decide who it's going to be they target. Cut will be the first contacted I believe.

At this point if they can sign Brohm they probably should.

If they officially offer Tee the head spot he will take it. He would be crazy not to but his experience is thin for my taste but I would take it at this point.

I really do not think Cut is a possibility. If he were that's where I would go and throw a huge raise to Tee and beg him to come be OC and HC in waiting. Of course this is unlikely to happen because no one I know think Cut is a real possibility. He, and more importantly his wife, are very happy at Duke plus can Currie really hire him being the one who was responsible for his departure? I DO NOT see Curie having the ability to pull this off.

I do not see us hiring any of the top names being thrown around (Venables, Cut, Strong, Miles or even Pruitt)

All things considered I think Tee probably gets his shot and I am ok with it. Not "thrilled" but there is always the "what if?". He could kill it if he has Fulmer to be his tutor and VFls get involved. It's probably our best shot at this point.

Lastly the Haslams are going to kill Tennessee football if not stopped.

Sorry for the long post been in meetings all day and haven't been able to keep up on here.

Long range journalism doesnt really have time to be concerned about things like 'details'

It never got past the 'all ut fans thought gruden was coming and flipped out when he didnt' thing

The laziest take

I was hoping for Campbell, but I guess he's out with the extension and raise.

I actually think Les Miles makes a lot of sense at this point. I would have scoffed at that idea 48 hours ago, but with everything that has gone down, coming out of this with a head coach who went 114-34 at LSU with a 62-28 record in the SEC...we'd be smelling like roses.

Thanks for the info. So are people holding the haslams accountable?

Yup. he can try to sue us for damages and what not which would not be a good road to go down for either.

He would be an idiot to do that. Like you said, he won’t want to go down that road and keep the story alive and also defamation of character would be incredibly hard for him to prove.

Why none of those names? Money talks, why are we being so cheap? If nobody of that puny ilk will listen to us no matter what we offer, then the Haslams have already killed UT football.

Plus we start digging, depositions, descriptions of depositions, his behavior at every other stop is highlighted. He will drop it
