(Stephen Smith is just one example of the talking heads going off on us employed by this agency)

Quite an example of a corrupt agenda at a very high level.

Jimmy Sexton, maybe the Tennessee fanbase is not as stupid as you think we are.

We as a fanbase are not ignorant. We are merely falling victim to the propaganda of pissed off people with money and media influence.

Stand fast on your common sense Volnation. We are making a statement of national importance. We will not be bullied nor have our opinions swayed by people more interested in positioning themselves for better jobs than the welfare of our children.

At the very least someone should expose Sexton and his clients' agendas.

Honestly I think Jimmy is one of the biggest problems of the UT coaching search he has to many ties to the program and coaches.

AD deserves every ounce of bad press that is being slung around, but not the people who expressed major frustrations with the potential hire. This is the exact reason people hire search firms. A discussion would likely have happened that would have discussed the potential fall out.

Blaming Sexton for our decisions is the same as the person who eats McDonalds 3x a day blaming McDonalds for being fat....

Sexton is getting the clients of his firm to destroy Tennessee. They really have no credibility on the issue due to the conflict of interest. This is one way Sexton derives his power...

Also, can people get past the fact that he's an alumus? When he is representing clients, he has to work in their best interest. He might as well be a Bama alum.

I would like to add that by "university" I was mostly referring to the fanbase. We don't deserve this crap. Currie, Davenport , etc. are big, well paid boys and girls. They can handle it.

BSPN's "storyline" today is to trash UT while supporting OSU/Schiano/Meyer/Herbie. This is BSPN telling him what his role in today's narrative will be since S.A. Smith has no thoughts of his own...

Sexton is a typical salesman, broker or agent. He does not get paid unless the deal closes. The deal did not close so he is SOL and pissed.

Does McDonalds come into your office and offer you incentives for eating the Big Macs? No. It is not the same thing.

McDonalds has value menus/coupons (which are incentives) and they supply the product (Much like Sexton supplying coaches). Much like a McD customer, we are under no obligation to hire who Sexton puts in front of us....

Jimmy Sexton is known as the 'super agent', he has a reputation to protect if he wants to be the guy that can get his clients the best contracts, otherwise he isn't worth his fees.

If you haven't noticed, they are UT!! Get them out and then we can all move on and get a good program!! It won't happen until that happens.

I disagree, UT will still be here when "they" have passed and are long gone. UT is the student body, the kids who struggle to pay rent, gas, books, tuition and food. UT is the athlete's who work their butts off daily trying to balance study and athletics. UT is the alumnus who donate time and money, who help to get new grads jobs. UT is the "Sidewalk Alum" who never went to school there but whose blood runs orange. UT is the father / mother who saves to take their kid to one home game a year even if it's in the nose bleed section. UT is greater than those currently in charge, and will overcome this current crisis. I am not willing to concede that UT is none of this and we are nothing but a bunch of toothless hillbillies that don't understand GS was all we deserved. Yesterday we followed General Neyland's Maxim number 3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.

This thread is idiotic. Let's just blame Dolly Parton while we're at it.

Yes, let's use UT football forum to thrash the Tennessee legend who happens to be the most talented and most accomplished female songwriter in the history of music. :good!:
