In 2012 there were really two coaching searches going on...
Certain boosters had Gruden locked down.
Hart/Haslam trying to put anyone besides Gruden behind the podium.

Exact same scenario this go around.

Currie needs to go immediately.

Based upon Currie's press release have little faith that we will make even a decent hire. Currie is completely oblivious to what is going on around him. Couple that with the manipulation by the House of Haslam then I think we are doomed to being a bottom feeder in the SEC.

This board is a microcosm of Vol Fans all over the world and there are way too many people blaming Currie rather than the House of Haslam.

The fan base needs to wake up from the stupor they are in and start raging against the House of Haslam. We will be stuck in mediocrity or worse until control is taken away from the House of Haslam.

Wake up Vol Fans - Wake up before it is too late!

If Currie properly vetted him and still thinks so highly of him, why back out of the deal? No way because of fans on social media. Booster money being pulled caused this.

I agree that Currie needs to go. I, however, don't believe for a second gruden has been locked down either time. If he wanted to be here, he'd be here. Getting him in here would get an AD a statue of themselves on campus. I don't believe for one second he was ready to sign and an AD tanked it on purpose.

I also noticed he said "the ohio state university". Only osu fanboys and media honks refer to it that way. Maybe he's angling for a job there.

I firmly believe unless Currie if fired and possibly Davenport as well and Haslams are put in their place, we will Never have a decent coach with UT ties again....

This is serious .... it you love UT...email your complaints

IF it is Brohm, we need to not take this out on him. If you want to do something, then lose your wallet for some time and hit them where it hurts. I don't want the media using the FANS as an excuse as to why the university is failing and no one wants to coach here.
