I don’t think it’s out of the question. The question is if anyone currently on payroll would want to step in and make the biggest decision (hire) of their life...first day on the job.

I'll go out on a limb and say Phil Fulmer would. And I'd trust him 100% to make the right one.

Call me old fashioned but I think we desperately need Tennessee people to right this ship. Tennessee football has been at its peak when orange blooded people were at the top. It's time to put an end to this stuff.

Only our own would have us at this point.

That certainly is a y’all task to step up to. I believe Fulmer would be up to it though.

No way Fulmer would want to try and make a hire after this went down. He loves this place too much to risk being the bad guy.

Simple answer, Haslams.

Side note not related to Jave.
Ron and Ziti wanting Gruden didn't cause today to happen.

Invol and Grant saying Mehlen in a thread with about 30 regular fans, wasn't the cause of Florida hiring Mullen instead of us.

The remarks are petty or filled with complete ignorance of how things work. 1 of the 2.

Any school gives him the keys and huge raise. And Nebraska is a contender?

Yeah, but Tennessee doesn’t give Steele the keys and a huge raise if we want him to come be Tee’s DC. That’s my point. Frost has actual reasons to go to Nebraska other than just that he has fond memories there.
