Unlike most on here, I really like Jeff Brohm. Bowl eligible first year at a bottom feeder B10. Strong offensive mind that knows the value of good D unlike some of the previously hot topic coaches. 30-10 at WKU with a #24 ranking and win over Miami in their bowl in 2015. 7 years at QB in the NFL. We could do a lot worse and his buy out is manageable.

There are going to be no candidates for this job. Anybody who says we should hire Frost, (1) I agree, but (2) there is no way he is coming here. This fan base would scare him to death. I’m sure he feels like he would have 2 years to win huge before his career takes a nose dive.

And that’s a ridiculously false narrative. If fooley and freaking Butch Jones got 3 and 5 years respectively, our fan base isn’t quite the monster it’s made out to be in regard to being impatient with coaches.

You don't get to hire someone who can win championships when you just went 4-8 and your AD is the laughing stock of the whole country. You have to get there in stages, and the first one is 8-4 every year.
