Still would love to make Gruden an official offer. I don’t believe he ever received and that’s why he said the stuff about Knoxville and Rocky Top. I think he wants the job but never was offered.

Unlike most on here, I really like Jeff Brohm. Bowl eligible first year at a bottom feeder B10. Strong offensive mind that knows the value of good D unlike some of the previously hot topic coaches. 30-10 at WKU with a #24 ranking and win over Miami in their bowl in 2015. 7 years at QB in the NFL. We could do a lot worse and his buy out is manageable.

I don't think we have to accept the notion that absolutely NO ONE decent is going to come here. The fanbase will be very receptive to coaches now. Bar has been massively, massively lowered.

Question. You seem like a smart guy. Say you own a business that in the last couple of years has had an issue with sexual impropriety claims. And say you are needing to hire a manager to run your business at the ground level. Now, say you have a guy you like on he hook, but you find allegations that he didn't report a child sexual abuse incident to authorities, and find proof that he ordered his subordinates to purposely try to hurt Rivals and find proof that he leaked information about an subordinates drug issues to the press. On top of that, he has been only moderating successful day his job.

Well before today I'd have been firmly against the hiring of Tee Martin as head football coach. Now, I'm not. Get Tee in here with a great staff and around him and I think we might be alright. Steele as DC. We'll recruit on an elite level and will develop players. Martin understands what it's going to take to win at Tennessee and I'd think he'll have plenty of guidance from Phil. And hey, we'll get back to power football.
