This. Actors and politicians are being fired for just a whiff of allegations in today's climate. You can't make that hire.

I am proud of this fan base for doing what was right. However, I think it sucks that the nation does not seem to perceive it as a good thing WE did. It sucks that it will be viewed as a deterrent for future coaches. Instead of having prospective coaches come running because they know we standup for what is right even if it jeopardizes winning.

Why did Currie let this Gruden stuff go on and on without quashing it? He smirked at his press conference and appeared to never try to stop it. For there to be a Gruden article on CBS hours before you hire Schiano is insane.

You can thank the Haslams for all this. They’ve been running our program in the ditch for years. They’ve officially totaled it now.

Those speaking out against the fan base revolting over the Schiano deal need to look at the other side. Nobody from OSU was sad to see that man go. It was quiet excitement.

Oh don't worry there is more they just aren't ready to bring it to light. He's a terrible head coach and I don't want anyone associated with that scandal.

This national outrage is ridiculous. In the current environment, how is a man that allowed children to be raped the victim in this?

This fanbase wouldn't have had this reaction to anyone else. We would have grumbled but accepted Mullen, Taggart, Norvell, Leach...literally anyone. What do they all have in common? They weren't complicit in ****ing child rape. Schiano was. This is not , nor will it ever be our ******n fault. **** the media and their bull**** narrative.

I've got the sinking feeling that this is not over yet.

They may let this sit for a couple of days, let the media run hit pieces about how UT fans are wrong and suck, then try to roll that SOB right back in here.

Unfortunately I think we would see the same reaction from USC fans if Tee came back to Knoxville.
