Youre wrong about his coaching as well.
How ex-Tampa Bay Bucs coach Greg Schiano is preparing for his next job | SI.com
Thats a simple cop-out. Plain and simple. The fans didn't get the coach they wanted and they latched onto the first negative thing they could find to justify the outrage. If I were a betting man I would bet that 98% of everyone here yelling with the moral outrage had no idea that he was even a coach at Penn State during that mess. And to top it off he was a mere 25 years old at the time. But hey if your narrative.I have no idea what he saw or didn't see at Penn State. What I do know is that if ANYTHING ever crawled up out of that place that happened to slightly involve him, our university would be skewered. You simply CAN NOT take that type of chance when dealing with a public institution as ours. You can't have any sort of link or possibility that can hang over the head of you highest paid state employee. It just isn't something you should do. He can have the chance somewhere else, but in my opinion, not here. Currie was a fool to think this would go over.

I agree. Unfortunately, this is a battle that you can't win. I tried last night. You can't reason with ignorance and a mob mentality. It would serve them right if Schiano became the next Saban, and we hire one doofus after another. Are you happy to blatantly disregard fact and condemn a guy for no reason. Man our fan base is ignorant.
Glad you actually read it Joe. We are screwed. No coach wants a fan base that believes lies, cries wolf, and gets their way all the time.
Currie learned a hard lesson tonight. Pander to the fanbase and soon youll be sitting with them. Thanks guys. Have fun looking up at UK and Vandy.

Theres zero evidence that he knew anything. Can you even read?

That's a good article. Honestly, I don't know. I can see both sides. I do know that that other team's will use this agains us in recruiting heavily.
