Call me crazy, but I'm willing to let bygones be bygones and hire Kiffin back. I think he has matured and believe he truly loves UT.

Apologies to Ziti. Your BS detector is apparently much better than mine. I never would have believed Currie was that incompetent. Never in a million years.

Hubbs has said Currie has bounced some names off them but have never really been involved.

I tend to agree about Mullen. But, it is beyond stupid to have Schiano as the backup. He had to know about Campbell's buyout and whether or not he had the support to do it. This is all on him.

Maybe he and Deerpark were right all along. Along with Hubbs. If we're still being tight about some things, I can't see Ergen being involved.

For that matter, maybe even Hyams was ri---naw, I just can't say it with a straight face.

After I realized he was going then I thought the only possible solution was that he had his guy.

I mean no way UT announces we have money to burn, forego hiring a search firm and then have this guy as a candidate. No way we can be that dumb. Made me believe even more we had someone lined up.

Well I was wrong. Even dumber than I imagined.

This guy is clueless. Walking aimlessly around ZZ last week and then goes to the Bahamas before doing this? We need to fire him tonight.

Let’s be honest this trip looked bad from the second it was announced because Gruden not anyone else decent was ever an option. We need to get over this secret ninja search stuff. The people in charge are just so far removed from the pulse of this fan base and reality that hopefully everyone is on the same page now and realizes this. We suck and we will continue to suck until a COMPLETE OVERHAUL is made throughout the Admin. Good luck with that.

Yes. He can't meet with or call another candidate. Can't have any more communication with Schiano. No one.

Hit the reset button on this coaching search and start over with Blackburn or Fulmer. Hire an interim if we have to for 2018 and make sure we nail the hire next year.

Agreed. I didn’t think he knew anything but looks like he did. Always thought he was a good guy, just didn’t think anyone had any info this time.

Agreed Currie needs to be terminated. He shouldn't be allowed to make the next hire.

Anyway, bravo to you for smelling the stench before me. It does appear Currie had his guy. We all were hopeful thinking it was Petersen or Gruden. He had Greg child-rape-enabling Schiano. Incredible.

This s**t show today tells me we were never close to getting Gruden. People were either lying or their "sources" are garbage.

The fact is that almost no one has real inside sources. The Grumors were fun, but I hate myself for believing in them. It's such a letdown.
