I hate to say it but this could be longer than the Gruden threads. What in the hell was Currie thinking? Fire Schiano now.

Schiano is not only a horrible coach but a horrible human being.

Unacceptable hire.

John Currie should be fired for even considering him.

Good Lord! Give the guy a break! He did one hell of a job at Rutgers and turned a pitiful program with little talent and zero tradition into one of respect and success.

Shi!ano hasn't earned the right to wash UT footballs, let alone put VN through another 5 years of utter pain and misery.

Currie CANNOT be THIS stupid. If he really did hire Shi!ano, than yes, the burning of Knoxville will make the Atlanta fire look like a Girl Scout bonfire.

I don't like it and I'm not getting out. This the worst hire imaginable. A child molester enabler? Hell yes he knew. If this hire goes through I believe it may be the shortest in history. There will be huge protests on campus over this.

Kevin Sumlin just got fired at A&M if all we got is Schiano let's hire Sumlin instead. At least he is a guy we can get behind.

Its impressive to see a fire thread before he's even announced. Has to be a record! I think the worst part is that this hire is lacking in both big name/track record and moral integrity. Its my own fault for expecting more.

@danharalson tweeted that Schiano is "currently concerned with the climate of the Tennessee fan base and the reaction towards reports of his contract being finalized at Tennessee. The deal may not get finalized."

Keep up the pressure! Do not threaten violence, but make your feelings known to Schiano @osucoachschiano as well as @john_currie that we do not want him in Knoxville.
