last time we lost 4 games to vandy in 6 years was in the 1920s. our answer was to hire General Neyland. Hoping history repeats itself.

We don’t even need a Neyland to beat Vandy. Just need a coach with a little common sense and coaching ability and it can be done easily.

It's over, done with Vol football this year. I can't believe how far we have fallen. I don't see it getting any better anytime soon.

Lmao the entire world is done with Vol football this year, it was the last game.

Had to, sorry

I can't believe Tennessee is now officially the worst team in the SEC. I have no words right now...

Officially the worst University of Tennessee football team EVER!!!!! Nothing but up from here......

Nope.. we could lose the other four.. always room for an even worse season.. not bottomed out till we are 0-12...

Hopefully this is as far as we will ever go, though..

In a twisted way I sort of hope the new coach hangs the name of every other team in the SEC somewhere and tells the team they can take each name down when we beat them, because that’s where we sit right now: with a loss to every single team in the SEC the last time we played them. I mean we’ve swapped licks with a team or two since the last time we even played Mississippi State, but the next coach gets to come in 0-for-everyone. There really isn’t anywhere to go but up.

Incidentally, on December 5, 1998, we had a win streak against everyone in the SEC. Obviously we ran the table in ‘98 but wins against Ole Miss in ‘97 and LSU in ‘93 meant Fulmer’s Vols owned wins against everyone at the same time, and it hasn’t happened since. There really isn’t anywhere to go from there but down though... ask ‘Bama tonight.

How in the hell Georgia Tech lost to this UT team is a great mystery. Its the sort of thing that wakes Paul Johnson up in the middle of the night.
