I'm still not understanding why as we still don't have a new HC. Timing would have been the same regardless and it hasn't made any positive impact on recruiting like some thought it would.

All it did was punish this team and the group of seniors. Arkansas and A&M showed more class in how they handled this. But we had to be like the Gators.

Arkansas fired bilema as he left the field. That’s not handling things right. Kind of like not letting a guy get on the team plane. That’s just plain wrong no matter the circumstances.

Prolonging Butch’s dismissal was more hurtful to the team in my opinion. I was a big advocate of butch, but the season may have been able to be spared had it happened sooner

Sorry but I am not Butch. I am a fan who believes the players who have stuck with this program for the long haul deserved to be considered.

Between the Gruden and Jennings stupidity they have been overlooked and ignored.

Firing Butch early has accomplished absolutely nothing that would not have been accomplished had he stayed for the last two games.

The truth is - some wanted him gone for fear that he would somehow win the last 2 games, make a bowl game and been kept.

And this season would not have been spared regardless the coach. Too many critical injuries - buy think whatever you like. I for one clearly expect next season to be just as bad.

In the real world, they play for the Vols, not Butch or any other person.

Vol football is bigger than any one person.

They will be fine.
