Umm yes they were. And if you haven’t noticed that as long as seats are filled and money is being spent on games , hence the last two hires, the win loss record had been irrelevant. I want a big time coach..... we all do. But until we see it, I’m not going to believe it as the UT Atheletic Department has given us every reason to not believe in them.

I hope this year is different!

Not anywhere near the same extent, I honestly can't believe you are attempting to compare the situations.

I have skepticism for sure about landing a big name, but Schiano is like the dumpster hire. I think we can at least avoid that.

I hope it’s Petersen.

It never made sense that we would be willing to spend so much on Gruden when that same amount would get a proven winner (like Petersen).

Maybe it’s not Petersen, but you’ll find someone that is high reward and low risk if you’re paying that much.

Dont think i could get on board with schinao or kiffen. Id be okay with just about anyone else and at least give them a chance to prove themselves

I understand not Kiffin he has burned Tennessee before.

But why be against a successful coach that you don't know?

And yet support anyone else.

Some of you want James Franklin.... and there is more stories from people on him trying to cover up a gang rape...so inconsistent

Oh my bad, i meant realistic coaches. I dont include the likes of Gruden pr Franklin etc because they are not coming here.

Dont know Schiano? I have never heard a positive story about that guy other than the fact that he won at Rutgers.

He is a good coach.

Peterson would be a good pull seeing more on that.

But from everything coming out timing wise. I believe Currie was told in the Bahamas about who his options were and Sexton got Schiano locked up then.

Some of you guys need to realize Sexton controls college football. He is a Tennessee man too. Would shoot Currie straight on his clients who would actually go to Tennessee.

Schiano is VERY Highly regarded coach.
Close friends with Belichick, Saban, & Meyer
