Safe to say Mullen is still in play for UF and UT.

The problem with Dan Mullen: one week he’s competitive with Bama, the next week he’s getting his butt kicked at home to an under-manned arch-rival Ole Miss team with an interim head coach and a losing record.

He has plenty of football knowledge and know-how, he’s just wildly inconsistent and I’m afraid he’ll be that way at his next job.

You all can have him.

That’s how he has been his whole time there. He’ll lose to a scrub team, then look like a million bucks the following week against a Bama or a LSU or a Auburn.

I’m also very uncomfortable with his career losing record in the SEC. He’s several games under .500.

I’ve had one foot off his train and I’m slowly easing off completely. He’s got enough of a track record to know what he is. He’s constantly laying eggs in big games, remember the debacle at UGA earlier in the year.

Yup. Quite pitiful really. These kinds of inconsistencies are exactly what lost Butch the East last year, and tonight has proven that Mullen is no better.

You do realize there is more to a football team than just QB?

I do, but if we would’ve had a decent quarterback, I think we could’ve won some extra games this year with our defense. That is why I kind of like Mullen.:clapping:

Mullen wouldn’t be a bad hire at UT def not a grand slam hire though. I would take Kiffin and Patterson over Mullen.
