You don't want a player bashing the school on social media, but what I saw was JJ voicing his disapproval of the coaching staff. He never said anything bad about Tennessee. Actually, in my opinion, it seemed he was very passionate about our program. It is sad that he spoke out about the problems at Tennessee and what is truly holding the program back, yet instead of listening they dismissed him from the team. It might not have been the best way to voice his opinion, but I thought Currie was all about our student athletes.

Plus what a great message this sends to our recruits and team before they play Vanderbilt trying to avoid the first ever 8 loss season in program history.

Discipline is one thing, being a lame duck power mongerer is another.

There was a very big blow up today and what we know is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak. I don't have any inside info just working from knowledge of how things like this go down. This was a decision made by the Athletic Department. Hoke just had his name attached to it because he is interim.

That was my thought. Looking like an 8 loss season is on the way

No way this administration gets this hire right. They show us over and over again that they are over their head.

Absolutely amazed by the incompetence

Spawn, man o man o man I hope you're wrong, but deep down I have the same fears, I hope we're both wrong.

Sounds like Currie is making a statement to me. **** is bad on the hill, no doubt but perception is everything and UT doesnt need any more bs being made public than already has.

With a new coach coming in, recruits with their eyes on UT, and probably with a firm understanding between Currie and the players that there will be no downing of Butch/Hoke/Staff allowed, he just cant stand for what JJ did.

Who knows, maybe our new coach had a conversation with Currie about it and agreed this was what needed to happen?

I say we need JJ cuz he is a freakin pit bull on the field so i hope theres a way Gruden lets him back on the team.

If all Jauan did was air a stupid and vulgar video, the new coach will have the opportunity to bring him back aboard (undoubtedly with conditions, like a lifetime supply of stadium stair runs).

But there's a real good chance there's more to this than that video, and that Jauan may never be back. And that may not be a wrong decision, depending on the truth of it all.

Eventually, we may know all the facts and be able to judge for ourselves. Or maybe we never will.

Only thing for sure is, we don't have all the info. *not coming to any conclusions while still in the dark*

I hope you guys are right about it being Gruden. It would not surprise me if Currie marches out there and promoted Hoke to full time head coach.
