Grude news to start your Wednesday from a very credible VQ source, Pred

“Oh I have no idea. I don’t think anyone does, but I know a certain blonde super bowl winning coach was in East Tn recently. But lots of reasons for that I guess.

My personal opinion is Currie either hirers Gruden or has a big name done. I’m not sure how, logically, it makes any sense otherwise. He’s gonna let the Grumors continue so he can trot out DJ Durkin(that’s who he saw in Baltimore/DC area guys not John Harbaugh. Silly). What I mean by that is he better have Gruden or someone really good if you are gonna let Grumors continue.

I know Brent and Jimmy Hyams say he wasn’t in Tampa(because that’s what Big Jim tells them) but Currie was. That’s a fact and I’d bet every penny I have vs every penny Brent has on that. Lots of weird smoke around Gruden, so it’s either him or he was a diversion. Who knows, Currie is a sneaky ninja”

I am not sure they met in Tampa. I trust what AV says and my guess is they met at the Magic Kingdom!

Well just remember he was thrust upon us because everyone else turned us down....He was way down the list.

I hope this is not a repeat....

If Gruden takes the job this time, I’ll be skeptical of the official AD story of how the last coaching search went down.

Enjoy these times SFD, you will turn around and they will be grown, I have fond memories of our first trip and my 3-year-old daughter's reaching out for Minnie to hold her!

That same daughter is now a student at that Crimson school which shall not be named! But her blood still runs Orange......:cheer:

Whoa.

Yes. We go every year because it is such a great way to track their development. We aren't people who sit still very well, so it's the perfect vacation for us. One of my favorite memories is of my middle child during fireworks one night holding out her little 3 year old hands like she was holding water in them. I asked her what she was doing and she responded, "trying to catch magic."

I love that! They will grow up too soon!

Somehow, I think I remember that.
I’m fine with Grudenites.
But, also think being called a “Grude Dude” sounds good.
Could have a section named that in Neyland.

I do think we are constitutionally different from the others. I believe that we are the ones who remember that we are one of the most storied programs in college football. We remember a time when there was swagger involved with being a Tennessee fan. We remember a time when, if we were down by 4 and Peyton got the ball back on his own 20 with a minute twenty seconds left, you had full confidence he could drive it those 80 yards. We are the ones who believe that a coach of the highest caliber, the single most sought after coach of our time not only would come here, but that the University of Tennessee would be the job he'd pick and want over every other single job on the planet. We are the ones who continue to believe in the strength of our history to propel us forward.

Stupid mullenites can't dream big. They can't imagine a life better than the one they already have. I genuinely feel sorry for them.

Heh, I don't actually get to count myself as a Grude, because I have no history like you all do. but I do like the name "Grude" for you, because it reminds me of this little fella.

Oh, and good morning, everyone. :hi:
