A new owner took over a few years ago.

Rodney England, former owner of England furniture. Played golf with him a few times. He has put a lot into the course... also fairly sure he'd like to sell it, but would ask a lot more than the 2+M he bought it for..

I was in the hellhole known as Legion Field for that game, it sucked when TRob went down. As my avatar would indicate, he is one of my favorite Vols. And I agree with you, the Sugar Vols are my favorite team as well.

I went to New Orleans and saw the blood letting of the arrogant Hurricanes

Every golfer in here needs to make a trek out to Bandon, Oregon and play Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes and Old MacDonald. Greatest courses in the world. I’ve played all over the world and there’s very few experiences that can top it. McKees restaurant, The Punch Bowl (18 hole putting course) The Preserve (13 hole par 3 that may have the best views on the entire property) all make it one of the most special experiences you’ll ever have. It’s like 150 years off golf history was just plopped down on the Oregon Coast. Unreal time. We have a guys trip every January called the Bandon Cup. 16 of us compete 8 v 8 just like the Ryder Cup. It’s the most fun I have all year. Anyway.

Gruden.

Been there, done that. Played Old McDonald in 40 MPH gusts--don't want to remember what I shot. The Pacific Course will rival any course anywhere for great views. The caddie we had one day said the owner told him he made enough on hat sales to pay for course maintenance every year (very low cost maintenance). We went from there to Bend and played Tetherow. Our Bandon Dunes caddy said Kidd was going thru a divorce and took it out on the greens there. They were brutal.

My fav U.S. golf resort: Whistling Straits. AWESOME and fun.

This 100%. Can't imagine a better place for a guys golf trip. Place is amazing, courses are challenging yet very playable and of course the views are amazing! Played it the week before then watched the Vols vs Ducks.

Looks like Peterson from Washington is now interested in the UT job. Currie has now lined up Mullen, Taggert, Frost, Fleck, Campbell, Strong, Hoke and Schiano. Going to be interesting who he announces as the new HC after the Vandy game.

None of those names are remotely close to the proper spelling of Gruden.

None of those other coaches are on the same level as Petersen.

Man, was it special to watch that guy tote the rock. If ever there was a running back who was a threat to house it every time he touched it, CWebb was that back.

I was at that Cotton Bowl game. Unbelievable.

And he could/would lower the shoulder and run guys over as well. Man, if that guy didn’t have a career ending injury, I think he would have been a household name in the NFL. He was that good!

i had an uncle that thought about buying it but he never tried when it was for sale. It was a good price for that course.
