Hyams has been counter productive to the Gruden hire and condescending to Vol Nation. I really do not like egotistical medi members and journalists, I have been around them a lot and feel the need to check them into place.
His ego is so big he only has sex with himself

Forged, maybe, but a lot of pros aren't using forged irons anymore (PXG for example). If you haven't hit the P790's, you need to try them. They are the same technology as the PXG's which cost almost twice as much, but they spin the ball better. They look like forged, hit like a cavity back (they aren't), and have a huge sweet spot. The problem I had with the PXG is that the ball rolled too much after landing. The 790's stop quicker. Best looking performance iron on the market and they are awesome. I'm a 7 hdcp. (up from 4)--age catching up with me--putter failing.
I’m hitting the PXG’s and cannot stop the ball. Only the ProVs have any bite

what's your best round at the Honors? My son shot a 70 from the back tees when they held the state AM there 8 or 9 years ago. He was in 3rd place after the first day. Didn't do as well the last 3 days but it was fun.

Hixson..When I was in in chatt. There used to be a great used shoe shop there that my mentor called the dead man's shoe shop. Picked up an amazing pair of JMs that I reconditioned 3 times..That still there?

Costco makes a good ball. I have friends that play around scratch and play Kirkland. BTW, broke in my 718 mcb’s at Pinehurst 2 weeks ago. Played 2,6,7, and Dormie. Dormie is the truth. Pine Valley-esque if you will.

Awesome pics. I was at the U.S. Open in '05. Watched guys intentionally hit their approach shots on 4 in the pine straw to the right of the green because that was the only place they could pitch the ball onto the green and hold it. Almost the same on #11 (minus pine straw). I watched that hole for over an hour and saw only one player try to hit the approach on the green. Decided my game was not up to that challenge. We did play at the Duke University Golf Club. Thought it was an awesome course.
