That wasn’t my opinion of the UT brand. I know what Gruden could do here. That’s why I want him to be our next HC so bad.

My comment was a guess at Kelly’s perception of the UT job vs those others. Not that I agree with that. Just guessing why Kelly wouldn’t talk to us. Could be totally off base. 👍🏻

Unless the stories of the bad boys of Gainsville were completely untrue and fabricated to the point of nearly losing everything (family standpoint) Mullen will not be at a major program again. It wasn’t his choice to be at State and it won’t be his choice on where he goes.

So I’m at 99.999% after this. Darrell Wyke is a man who works for the AD and mentors some of the players. A man of the highest integrity. One of his close friends who played football at Ohio State (He was born and raised in TN) with him is a major booster for UT. (I know ironic)His plane was one of the planes that went to go close Gruden. He told my good friend (we’ve known each other for over a decade and see each other regularly) that it’s signed. Did not give a date to when it’d be announced but said soon (I about laughed out loud bc of how we all use that term on here) and said that’s why there wasn’t a need for a coaching search because this had been in the works and the boosters were all in together to get Gruden. So any non sense about Haslam is false.


With Knuck, Volinexile, DTO, Boro, Bubba, beaver, my few personal and family connections, hutch, babyvol and chattavol all saying Gruden is signed I have to believe.

Absolutely no way this many people are trolling or misleading us to be cruel. If this doesn’t happen something seismic happened and it’s not about a hooters sponsorship.


EDIT **** boro did not say he was signed, my apologies. I added him in that due to his confidence.
Also, after I posted that on the last thread several more positive posts came on VQ. Including beavers positive tweet. I’m lead to believe more than just my guy is starting to get info today. I can’t help but think that’s good. I believe Wallace has good info but is days behind. That’s my opinion.

Considering he's not known as a great recruiter, I could see him believing that. He needs all the help he can get, even if it's from location alone.

ya know... looking back at previous hires and how UT has done things... Gruden to UT is pretty much unbelievable... this is why so many in the media laugh at the idea

We know Currie is keeping all of this pretty tightly sealed however looking at information that has been put out, rumored, etc. I have to say some (not all) of the gruden to UT info lines up and actually is a little more believable than the non-gruden info.

Will it happen though? Not sure. We'll see what happens. I am still hopeful!

His circumstances are a lot different now. If it's not an LLC, he's not getting good advice. I would almost bet any new property is in an LLC.

I dont know if this is Hyams legit twitter account. There seems to be several accounts tied to his name. If so, I am shocked a nega-Grude would even post something positive like this.
