I will disagree with this. You let him see your dress for the first time when everyone else does. Takes the mystery out of it if you do a fashion montage for GrandVol.

95% sure the Beav is FOS. I have heard this from other folks in the VC world, the type of info he gives out and very big money boosters, just not of UT. All of them said he would be fired in an instance if info that sensitive would ever be released.

And his use of "We" is very suspect, like he is actually part of the negotiations. Again see above why folks involved don't really do that.

These same folks stated that VC's wouldn't really get involved in athletics that much, not enough return, and surely wouldn't be so involved on the college level, unless the head of the VC was a crazy booster. Also that Ergen was not associated at a high level with the MIT group. They said if he was involved at all it would be from a very low level, sideline stance and wouldn't involve sports at all on an amateur level.

That this for what is worth, I am not trying to burst anyones bubble. One of the folks that told me this I literally trust with my life as he and his wife are my daughters god parents. He runs in the same circles as Ergen if you know what I mean.

I am not saying that Gruden is not happening, but trusting the beav, I am not sure that is a good thing.

That being said if the beav would like to contact me I would be more than happy to discuss this or even put him in touch with my friend (who also went to UT, but transferred to Vandy to graduate).

I really want Gruden as much as anyone, but I am getting pissed about being played for a sucker.

No. Bubba brought up the VC not Beav. And one of them actually said that it wasn't castor ventures. And no details have been given about how the VC is involved.

The Beav is real.

Hell, if I have a Gruden celebration party, I think blue jeans will be the most formal we're gonna get.

We're Tennessee fans, by golly. We don't need a tophat and tails to celebrate our good fortune.

I get what you are saying, and some things have happened with UT and VC capital. However none of it matches up to what beav is saying.

I am just passing along info that was told to me, all of them laughed at the thought of what beav was doing. Actually pissed a couple off who are UT grads/fans.

Yep. I'm still all in on Gruden but a lot of his predictions were pretty predictable. Same games those 1-800 physics use. Butch will be fired (no ****) we all knew that was inevitable. The media will downplay Grudens interest in the Tennessee job (just like theyve done in the past) etc etc.
