Hubbs you mentioned before Petersen being unhappy at UW. Why won't UT target him?

He's happy with living on the west coast. He's frustrated with Washington's lack of national exposure because so many Pac-12 games start so late.

I think there is a question of fit for him in the south. He's a very good coach for sure. Can he be successful recruiting in the south? I think that's the question AD's have and he has about moving. Now he was rumored to be involved in the Arkansas job and some think if he moves it might be to rejoin his former Washington AD, who is now at Texas A&M.

I'm still trying to check and make sure there is nothing going on there.

Because Brice has had a ton of misses lately and he has no skin in the game.

247 is much more click conscious than VQ. If they think it will get hits they will run it.

Plus Hubbs still hasn’t confirmed it happened has he?

He's a name that was being thrown around before Jones was fired. He's not a name we have heard any talk of the last few days. We have had someone tell us that he's not a candidate.

Miles couldn't get the Houston job a year ago. I'm not sure Miles is trying real hard to get a job right now. His name hasn't been rumored anywhere at this point.

Hoke said post game last night that McBride wasn't cleared to play which indicates concussion.

I’ll never be out, UT football is a big hobby for me. That being said, if we hire another coach that I have to buy into what their selling besides a track record of success, I will dial back my enthusiasm and fanatical ways. I’m committed to the program regardless, but if they rollout another Dooley or Butch hire, they aren’t committed to winning and that’s a tough pill to swallow.

No. 1 QB is going to be in Knoxville for Thanksgiving. too bad we didn’t and don’t have the right coach or this young man could be a vol enrolling in january.

he has a family member whom i have known for decades that lives here. the young man had vol memorabilia in his bedroom while growing up.
