Florida was never going to hire Chip. Frost was their #1 but he's cooled on them and UF on him. I will shocked if Strong or Taggart isn't coaching UF next year which would be good for us. But who knows what other names will suffice. But won't be Chip or Mullen and most likely not Frost either.

I read several of AV posts this AM but appeared the deal was still being worked on and his appearance didnt mean the deal was off.

Just basically seemed to say quit tracking planes and they are working on a deal but AV may have posted more since i was online.

Its Gruden till it aint for me :rock:

The entire country is making a mockery of us for our infatuation with Gruden. Man, I hope we get him so bad so we can have the last laugh.

If not, I will be disappointed until we can prove we can win with whatever coach.

I can see that...and to some degree wouldn't blame him.

90% of the venom spewed over the last 2 months has been from people that were card-carrying Pumpers just 3 months ago. People that defended all his goofy antics, sayings, on-field decisions as well as making excuses for those things tuned on him

First I think he's pissed at UT for the way it was handled the 1st and 2nd time. He's not going to entertain us for a 3rd. He would literally have to HATE it at TCU.

2nd I think he would want the Texas A&M job before us.

3rd I think Gruden is coming so it's a mood point.

It wouldn't be so bad (coaching search) if the ad would just say... We are or aren't going after such n such coach. That would relieve alot of tension.

But I do realize Currie has a job to do and I'd not obligated to fulfill the fans wants.

You're right..TN,FL,Ole Miss and most likely A'M and Ark too.I am not sure Gus would leave for Ark but if he does AU could be #6. That could potentially be 4 SEC West coaching changes and if Mullen gets an offer he couldn't refuse from someone that's another one. Ala and LSU are the only pretty much guarantees to not have a coaching change in the West. Could be 7 potential changes in the SEC but 3 for sure. But do think Sumlin and Bielema will both be out.

Correct read imo. However, he talked about a Plan B and overall just seemed to contradict some others on here saying the deal was done.

Here’s the latest:

Florida will hire Hingle McCringleberry now that Chip is going to UCLA.

Tennessee is going to hire Bob Nobblegoff, Arena League Tight Ends Coach who got fired.
