I’m not sure what’s going on. But I know someone was there around lunch they let me know that JG was there. I believe that source. It’s real simple, he gets on a plane around 2pm flies for how ever many hours. Seattle is 2 hours behind us. This picture was not taken until around 7pm. Did anyone see him there before 7pm? No

3 hours behind Knoxville

Ok.. this crap has to stop. Currie looks petrified. Disgusting.. Flippin stalking and badgering on concourse ..The Moonbat’s twitter address @RollTitanz . Feel free to express thoughts on on twitter Can go to address and View video

Can you link that Twitter account? I can't find it.

heh, thanks. :hi:

It gets really fun when you start shuffling cards around that appear important to the leaker(s), but which are entirely controlled by you.

Like having different people leaking each of the nuggets.

Like getting people into the room who are known and trusted agents...so it appears to the leaker that he has even more cover from other possible sources, when really there were only 2 people in the roomful of staff who were under suspicion.

Like varying the ways the info is disseminated...so nugget a coming out during a formal sit-down, but nugget b being overheard near the water cooler by chance.

All these variables make things seem safer for the leaker, though in reality each variable is under your control.

How many of those have Sexton Hyams buddy as agent?

What are the ethics involved with a journalist continuing to mention Sexton clients. Can a journalist be paid by an agent for mentioning his clients name? I admit, a respectable journalist would never involve themselves in dealings of this nature.

I have lurked in the background for quite awhile. I do not have inside sources or anything that would give me an edge on information. I simply take the chatter from VN, VQ, and other social media sites to cross reference information. Weeding out trolls and bad information is difficult, but I disregard it if it only shows up from one person. With that being said I believe the following;

I find it hard to believe the University of Tennessee will take away from the current players and coaches (regardless how much we like the coaches) before the end of the season. Thus being said, I firmly believe UT will not announce prior to the Vanderbilt game any information regarding the coaching search.

Jon Gruden has had the chance four times to diminish, kill, or neutralize the rumors via his interviews. He chose to ignore or fan the flame. His son goes to UT, he would have killed the rumors immediately whenever he decided no. He has not.

I am a firm Gruden believer. 100% sold, all in. The only two people who can change my opinion is AD Currie and Gruden's words from their mouth. It would not phase me if Gruden's agent uncle's brother said Gruden was not interested. It did not come from them.

Take this as you will, but no action until after Vanderbilt and probably close to December 20th like Currie initially (allegedly) quoted to a recruit.

Nice and well thought out first post! Welcome to the Grudenites!

These are all subtle but absolute facts. No inside info needed.
1. Currie just smiles at press conference when asked about Gruden. (Infamous Beavis and Butthead smile)
2. Currie winks at crowd chanting “we want Gruden”
3. Gruden says UT is a dream job
4. Gruden breaks out a Rocky Top reference on radio show. (Totally unprompted)
5. Gruden tells Mike and Mike “never say never”
6. Vegas has Gruden as even money in some betting sites

All very suspicious and could easily have been avoided or squashed at any time. And that’s with absolutely zero inside info. Strange to say the least.

A bit more sophisticated than that.

Say you have three suspected leakers. You wait until 2 of them are with you, then spread fake news A. Then later, when one of those guys and the third person are together, you spread fake news B. Finally, you wait for the last combo to be together, and spread C.

That way, each time it appears to the leaker that he's not the only one with the news, so he can't be isolated. He's safe to leak both bits he heard.

But when fake news A and C both get leaked, you know exactly which of the three did it.

...

That's the simplistic version. The complexity builds as you add suspected leakers...but it works exactly the same way.

I did mention back in Gruden...one of the past Gruden threads some of the information coming out early on looked like a canary trap. Just so obscure it jumped out at me as probably being planted. Not saying that as a 100% guarantee, but...

You'd think an AD that was getting serious about negotiations and was afraid of leaks (he had to have known what happened in 2012) would want to cut off those leaks in advance of national level attention. No matter what folks say, the Currie and Reid Sigmon team is sharp. And if they wanted to keep the apple cart from upsetting, they'd want to know who was saying what in advance of a hiring. Either for reasons of smokescreen to pass on misinformation via those known sources or to cut off information flow because they know that person is talking out of school.

That's what I'd do if I was in his shoes and wanted to keep it quiet. Now, once national level media is involved, it's harder to keep quiet. Not impossible, but if you can control those sources of information in the beginning, the better use you have for them during the high level attention you know you're getting.

Remember what Currie said. "If you don't hear it from my mouth, don't believe it." I do think there is serious fire on the Gruden front. But I have zero faith in the sportswriters circles for reliable and/or timely information.

My breakdown of the Calhoun's photos...

You have the Calhoun's photo - the one where you can see Peyton and tell it is Calhoun's

You have the Gruden photo - the zoomed in side profile photo where you can tell Gruden is sitting in a black leather chair

In the only photo where you can tell it is Calhoun's, all you can see of the person who is supposedly Gruden is the back of that person's head. The side profile photo of Gruden is the bait/distraction.

In the photo at Calhoun's, there is a TV on in the background. The closed captioning captions mention "The Shoe" and the score is 7-0. So, the photo was taken early in the Ohio State/Illinois game, which kicked at 3:30 pm. If Gruden was in Seattle Saturday AM (if you believe the photos of him speaking with a Seattle staff member), Gruden would have had to leave Seattle before 8:30 am to be in Calhoun's at 3:30 pm (3 hour time difference and 4 hour flight). If Gruden was in Knoxville but the Seattle photo came after, Gruden could not have been in Calhoun's at 3:30 pm.

Question, is it just me or did anyone else notice the absence of Corona’s Gruden hotline and Gruden mia in Hooters commercials yesterday?

Pretty sure there were a few of us calling the planted info angle early on. It was shortly after LWS came into the thread after never being seen in Gruden threads before.

Hyams said on his show this morning that Currie was not talking to any press and that no one has any information. He did mention that Hart would talk off the record, but Currie will not.
