At tailgates before the game I was saying that my only goal for this team was to at least win one more game to preserve the "no-8-loss" thing. Gotta beat Vandy. Boys might need that announcement!

It was the last 20 seconds or so before they switched back to the studio. Announcer asked the guy whose show Gruden mentioned Rocky Top about it. There was an awkward pause, then he responded with something about a lot of names and a lot of jobs. Another pause, then they just switched back to the game recap.

I thought we played hard last night in the 1st half. Callaway cost us ten points but I was impressed with our D. Only legit touchdown they gave up is when we went to prevent near the end. Obviously you can’t do much of anything with our O-line but it was obvious JG’s ankle is still bothering him, not 1 designed QB run.

On the outside....I think it was more because when it comes out of their mouth, it sounds so silly....but with all the Grumors and incidences, they won’t discount it...so they trip on their own shoestring. Everyone else is 50/50 now....we’ll, besides Laverne and Shirley...I mean Jimmy and Tony.

Everyone is scared to say it.

Out of curiosity, when do you think an announcement will be made? I lean toward vandy week, but could see it now that we will not go to a bowl game.

It is for sure. The oline looked like tight ends... or linemen from the 50’s.

Too late. They have already achieved that position. This is the worst team in Tennessee football history.

With this offensive line, this group of receivers and this QB, the Vols could not mount a serious offensive output against any D1 team. They are terrible.

I would think at 5-7 the team wouldn't care too much about going to a bowl game. You could argue the practice time but at 5-7 I don't see the practice time being razor sharp...otherwise they wouldn't be 5-7.

IMO, slap a bow on the season and gear up for '18.
