I hope it’s Gruden, but it better be a splash if it’s not! Saw an article or a tweet last night about why Tennessee? Because 90000+ fans in a monsoon screaming for a bad team playing a game they can’t even see!!! Tired of the media downplaying the pride and tradition of our program! This is a top five job, just like Alabama was pre-Saban. Drives me crazy....er!! Just needed to rant for a bit.

I tend to follow Grumors for pure entertainment purposes only, but did anyone else notice the awkward Gruden exchange by the announcers at the tail end of the broadcast last night?

I don't think the implication is that it is from Currie, because within the email it refers to JC.

Certainly not saying it is legit, just that I don't believe it is from Currie himself.

For coaches, I agree. Plus they’re adult professionals.

For the players, especially the seniors....they get to come back to what (?) in 20 years? 4-8? The only 8 loss UT team ever? The only SEC winless UT team ever. That bothers me for them.

They deserve to be proud.

If the kids wanted to play in the great value bowl, I would surly support them, they need a morale boost! I really hope we can get that win so they don’t go winless in sec!! GBO

At some point, you have to give up and quit trying to revive the patient. This team has been flatlined for a month and a half. Let them go.

Yep....

...the commentators were actually talking about Grumors during the OU/KU Game. There was a UT fan in the stadium holding up a sign on tv that read: UT To Do List. 1 [✔️] Fire Butch Jones 2 [ ] Hire Jon Gruden

Hold on there sloppy Joe. I didn't say I was against it, just that it does nothing for me.

You could look at it like, as easy as it is to get in a bowl now, we couldn't even do that. It's pathetic either way.

I won't be excited about it, but I'd watch it. Either way, it'll pretty much be forgotten about within days.

With me it just comes down to, I just really don't care.

Let's get Gruden and ride that train.

I hear ya, I just can’t imagine how much l of a morale boost anyone gets from a bottom tier bowl. I think that time is probably better spent by the new staff out recruiting.

I had to laugh to keep from crying last night when the announcers were talking about JG introducing himself to the new lineman he’d probably never met as they came into the game.

Actually I did noticed that, announcer, (which I believe was the same one that had the radio interview with Gruden in Seattle when Gruden told him not to bring the Tennessee job, then later Gruden saids what a great song Rocky Top is) but the announcer quickly covered it up by mentioning a bunch of names too.

Very very interesting.
