There is a thread out there titled 'Hoke the joke.' Did people really expect miracles to occur in less than a week?

Here in Ohio, I missed most of the second half due to flooding in our pasture and wading in knee deep water trying to get the animals to high ground. But, it looks like I didn't miss much.

I'm so ready for the new staff to be announced...soon!

I know Jon Gruden is a very intelligent man. He knows the passion and love coming from all Vol fans. Why would he not come here and bring us back out of the abyss? The so called “ in the know” journalist don’t think there is a chance of Gruden coming here. You know the Titanic was unsinkable. Also the US wasn’t going to beat the Russians in hockey in 1980. And the Vols had no chance against Miami in the 1985 Sugar Bowl. Gruden to the Hill.

I told my husband that Saban could have been on the sidelines last night and still would have been a lose. Hoke is in a no win situation and I hate it for him.

Thanks to Butch deciding we don't need a strong physical team through SEC S&C, we don't have enough healthy players to even be able to play in a bowl even if we did get an invite. They need to be in that weight room getting stronger ASAP. Does anyone have a list of the possible returning players for next year who were injured this year? Roster hopefully looks better then as opposed to now... Jennings hopefully is one, Chance Hall another and DK.

Totally agree. These kids while talented need to be broken down and built back up into the right system

Yep. The cupboard woont be bare. Grude will have some nice pieces in place. Gonna have to concentrate on the OL, and DL tho.

I think he's strongly considering coming to UT but hasn't made up his mind yet.

It sucks as a fan but I can't imagine being a player right now. I really feel for them and the situation they are now in thanks to Butch and admin mismanagement.

I feel sorry for everyone on that sideline. How’d you like to carry the torch that has been handed off to them for the rest of their lives.

The only way in my opinion to keep the talent we have is a home run hire. Anything less will cause concern and I would imagine a couple of players would transfer. I think we got it right, not sure on the timing of the announcement. I could see the argument being made that it wouldn't be till after vandy, with that, I could see something being announced after the loss to LSU. Anybodies guess at this point.

Feel sorry for the Seniors. The young guys, I expect them to experience nothing but glory in the future!!

I do too, but it had to get this bad for a change to take place. Imagine if Jones would have won a few more games. We would be stuck with that moron forever! Because of our suckiness we'll get Gruden!
