If you want a consistent 8-4, 9-3, with the occasional 10-2 season every 5-7 years then Mullen is your coach. I personally have higher expectations. I'll move on and give UT football the same level of importance that the UT AD does.

That's what he has done at Mississippi State. You would think he could win 1 or 2 more a year at program in an easier division and that attracts recruiting classes that probably rank at least 10 spots higher than what he's used to.

Tennessee should give each person with a ticket a free one next year with two hot dogs and two drink coupon. I feel for the ones that actually went to this ****.

I went and my kid is wondering if he wants to get season tickets now. That weather was rough and we are just so tired. I just want to be the **** out of the next person that makes fun of grumers and our fan base ect. 247 and VQ can go **** a Bama goat and EAD of Lame Kiffin. I hate all these bull****ting mother puckers.

How much of their success is de to being able to recruit well at the Mississippi JCs? Does that translate to UT? Do we want it to?

It’s been 24 hours of thread catching up, and nothing of note except one insider thinking he’s been completely played and Calhoun’s losing their minds

When I think of Neyland I think of Calhouns. When Calhouns is trolling Tennessee I know we have entered the darkest of times.

When you are bad all over the field after recruiting well for five years it is coaching. Period.

There is talent there. Not top 10 talent. But there’s enough to be competitive.

Coaching malpractice.

Precisely.
I’d argue it is top 10 talent. The difference maker being a legit QB.
The QBs haven’t been coached up at all, and the elementary offense surely didn’t help.
I wonder could a Baker Mayfield have even made a difference. When I see gameplans and route combos of other teams, I’m disgusted at how remedial this offense has been over the last 5 years.

No. He'll lose to Ga and FL every year and we'll be third in the east and never sniff an east championship.

I think it really depends on who UF hires and if Smart can keep his current success. He'll have no problem beating Scar, Vandy, Mizzou, UK. If UF hires another Mac then he'd beat them consistently. If Smart keeps his current success then that'll be back and forth toss ups imo. With an elite DC that doesn't leave for better jobs, and bringing in elite recruiting classes, Hes easily capable of consistently winning 10

Then probably the best option is to go out and hire someone for whom you don't have to say "We should be fine if Florida doesn't hire someone good."

I think FL will go big. Smart will continue to recruit well and 1/2 The battle is the Jimmy and Joe's.
