I was told that they said on pre-game show that Currie was going to the Bahamas to be with the basketball team Monday, and his family was already down there?

???? Has he already hired the coach, because times a wastin'.

The only problem I have with having all these VFL's on staff is what happens if they don't meet expectations and need to be fired? This puts Jon in a bad spot in my opinion.

This is a depleted team not just injuries but several transfers as well. I’ve never seen anything remotely like this in UTs history. I just have to share what this night was like.

We get there, pick up up the tickets and go through the gate, and there’s greeters putting arm bands on us. I look at my husband, all bewildered and he says, “Whoa”. We’ve never been to a UT football game and needed arm bands.

They usher us to the elevators and we step out to this awesome lobby. My girls were like, “Whoa”. There’s a Calhoun’s booth set up slicing off brisket. There’s a panini booth in the other corner. TV’s everywhere with tables and chairs. It looks like a swanky club and I guarantee our faces looked like we didn’t belong. There were even greeters in the bathroom!

We get to our seats and they are perfect, Section F, right on the 50 yard line. My girls faces when they saw the enormity of Neyland is something I’ll never forget. The jets flying over, the band, they were amazed by everything.

AtlantaVol, my girls said to tell you “Thank you”. They said they had the best time ever and can’t wait to go back. My husband and I can’t thank you enough.

Rain or no rain, this was a night to remember.

I don’t like the sound of your post and don’t like what you’re implying. Yes, I’m new. Was a always a lurker, never a poster in 2012.

AV came on here and asked if anyone that’s a vet or has young children would like tickets to the game. I asked, he gave. There was a delivery mix up, he gave again.

I’m as shocked as you. Kindest thing to ever happen to my family. He’s a total stranger to me.

So, you can stop now. Ok?

Well considering the basketball team is a major part of the athletics and are in a tournament, I would expect Currie to be there for it.
