I'm not saying 48 is too old, and I'm not too sure recruiting didn't have something to do with fulmer's downfall.

Recruiting fell off and he became more hands off with the oline over time. If you look at the rushing numbers from about 2000 on it was a steady decline in average rush yards per game.

Yea but that's totally different than comparing Norvell and Morris to Dooley and Butch. Both those guys actually ran an offense at a P5 program before being coaches at a G5 school. Dooley and Butch did not. That line of thinking just doesn't make sense to me. They may not be what we want, but they are good coaches and I think will eventually succeed at a P5 school.

Butch Jones also had 4 conference titles as an HC, that's something he has that they don't. No way are these guys significantly better candidates than him just because they had been P5 coordinators at some point in their careers.

You are from a beautiful country! Enjoyed my time in South Africa. Was busy with work but liked what I could see. Definitely a place I’d like to go back and visit. Sounds dicey politically though (but I guess everywhere is these days).
