These officials are horrible in the SMU/Memphis game. Memphis gets hosed on a stupid unnecessary roughness call on a QB sack, then Norvell gets an unsportsmanlike conduct for letting the officials have it. Both penalties enforced and SMU got 30 yards on two penalties.

Yep - I think they're about equal head coaches but my guess is Morris' offense translates better to the SEC and his time at Clemson probably means the job wouldn't overwhelm him.

Currie is probably getting exhausted watching this game as he constantly plays with his phone, trying to decide whether or not to call Mullen’s agent. Down 14? Put the phone away. 14-7? Get the phone but don’t call. Tie? Dial the number but don’t press call. 21-14 deficit? Delete the number but keep the phone ready. And on and on.

Not saying others wouldn't do better. I'd prefer Gruden, Kelly, Peterson, or Patterson, but that doesn't make Mullen meh. He still has a far better resume than recent hires made by USC, Florida, LSU, Texas, or UGA.
