I think a lot of the issues on both sides of the line go to Butch's philosophy of read and react instead of attacking. I think that is the biggest issue with stopping the run. I am hoping that we finally get to see what these kids can do if they attack the line of scrimmage.

I agree. I agree with what Fulmer and Mathews have been saying on their show today. Whoever we hire next, needs to understand the importance of playing physical football in this league. We don't knock people off the ball and really haven't for most of Jones' tenure. A system like what Jones seemed to think was infallible just doesn't work in this league IMO.

I just think swain is losing respect. One min it's Gruden, the next it's not. Some think he's part of the disinformation campaign. Some think he's being used by the AD. Some think he's just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks.

His sources are almost definitely other former players. He did play for Fulmer, but I think that Fulmer is being very tight-lipped about this search as well.

Same. He just smoked Kirby. He has beaten Saban. He finally found his DC match. He would do well with Guarantano and prob goes for fields. Put Malzahn in the East and he probably would hve been in. sEC championship nearly every yr

It won't happen because he's David Cutcliffe and he's 63 years old and wouldn't move the needle one iota in terms of increasing attendance and season ticket sales.

Cut is probably looking towards retirement at this point.
