I should clarify... I don't think Gruden would want to coach the Vandy game, nor do I think it's a good idea. I was only saying that the topic could easily have been brought up during discussions. Time will tell if Orange Pill is legit, but I don't think this particular detail hurts his credibility. That's all I'm saying.

Well he could have left with the idea that he was done with coaching.

Then after sitting around for awhile twiddling his thumbs, he realized that coaching was pretty fun and maybe he had more left in the tank than he thought And a chance at the SEC might make it worth one last run.

But hey I'm just making this up.

I don't Think Tennessee is a "rebuild", we are close. Some people just want to change their surroundings. I don't think he would come but who knows.

I’m not big on Stoops. Fired Venables to hire his crappy brother. And he got lucky with Baker mayfield randomly picking there to walk on to turn it around in a crappy big 12.

I don't think this will be much of a rebuild. If the right guy takes the job, he'll have things looking good by year two IMO

Kongbo is a DE all the way in a 3-4

I think Ignont would be ILB and deandre Johnson and Blakey would be OLB,

I see. Difference is that Meyer went 8-5 his last season and probably saw the roster wasn't looking much better for 2011.

Stoops left on top of his game and with Baker Mayfield coming back.

not heard much of anything regarding who Currie has interest in.. The names other than Gruden mentioned are easy for most anyone to say or figure out as being candidates. I agree with you we are likely to get someone that we don't see coming. last two searches (AD and Baseball) were like that.

I will say, once the Gruden thing gets final and we publicly have moved on, those rumors will have more meaning..
