Holy hell, I didn't realize Cindy Gruden was from Morristown. I don't think we're being trolled by Gruden at all and the hinted at calls to Sanders make some sense now.

EDIT: Guys, I knew she was from here just not specifically Morristown. That's Vol country and where Sanders is from (among others). I find that connection important. Some E. TN counties and towns are ambivalent unless the Vols are good but Morristown is always 100 percent Vol country.

My bad, a Rivals article just popped up on my phone on them rating how bad his de-committment would sting us and hadn't heard.

I want Gruden, but in the end, I want a dang good coach (which better be an upgrade from kif, fooley, and butch) that can recruit like hell and let his assistants do their job...
GA is turning into a machine and everyone else is leaving us in the dust... to me, recruiting is the biggest key here... we've got pitiful depth and players no where near developed to the level they should be. Poor schemes and angles, poor coverage, poor tackling, the list goes on and on... we need athletes and someone who will develop them

Have you looked into it? He was mostly cleared. Many think if he'd have not bounced to the NFL, he wouldn't have been given a show cause. The show cause was more symbolic than anything.

I realize He will never work here but he'd be on my list before Mullen, who may get some ncaa issues himself and any of the new up and comer.
