Basilio is friends with DJ and I’ve heard him say Dale Jones would crawl bare chested on his belly through broken glass from boone to neyland stadium for the chance to coach here.

What about the guy that just posted he’s known DJ for 30 years and there’s no way he ran that far with the bad knees he has?

This vfl staff is the biggest thing that makes me doubt gruden severely. Why does he want dale
Jones? They haven’t worked together to my knowledge and it’s not like he’s a nationally respected assistant. Just bc he’s a vfl? That’s the part that makes no sense to me.

Urban Meyer and Ohio State both said he wasn't coming to Ohio State 10 days before he was officially announced because a story leaked saying a contract was signed 2 games before the season ended.

Denials are par for the course before a big announcement when the truth gets leaked before the players involved are ready to make the announcement. Gruden nor UT want to announce anything before the season is over. That is why we have a misinformation campaign going on right now. Its to dead the noise so the team can finish the season strong without distractions. A new head coach would cause 10x the distractions we have right now. That's why it never happens. Look at 2011 Ohio State.

A staff full of UT guys buys a lot of goodwill for any early bumps. Plus it would make it mean a lot more to each of them. Fulmer loves this program deeper than Saban will ever love Bama.
