I think he maybe would have but I also don’t think he’s in it be an insider. He just seems like a very genuine guy, which makes sense with his quote saying he won’t comment further because of respect for the process. For all we know we may not here from AV again until a hire is made.

I've sat next to Sexton at a high school football game in Memphis, a few years back, when he was watching his son play. He had no idea that I know who he was, I never acted like it, and we talked off and on throughout the game. He's a good guy. He's just great at his job.

Then the article from CBS would have been titled differently imo. Nothing since Brice at 247 has had a positive vibe. People do not "smokescreen". That is for Hollywood.

CBS article about Tennessee having reservations about Gruden has went everywhere now. Chip Kelly?? really? Florida fans are not going to be pleased.

The cbs article was dumb. It lost all sense of purpose when it said this didn't mean Tennessee wouldn't hire him. Dumb article that hedged its bet
