We have all of these insiders, but none of them have ever given me a reason to care about their posts with the exception of LWS.

He said his sources have said that Gruden just doesn't want to coach college at the end of the day. Also said a source who is a booster, said he didn't think we'd have a coach in place before December 7th.

It had to have been advanced way beyond that. Before that platoon of big wigs went to Tampa they'd have had to be close to a deal. He may have ultimately turned it down but it had to be close for all that to have occurred. JMO

Pretty sure he said it was a done deal a week ago. That got Larry to move from 5% to 7.5% confidence level.

I’m not sure what to make of that.

I think it was Swan that made Larry go up to 7.5.

Not saying Mullen is Saban but to say his ceiling has been reached at Mississippi State is not true. When Saban was hired at LSU it could have been said he was a .500 coach basically. Mullen is a great coach who will succeed at a larger school.

Fair or not, Gruden probably won't be so beloved if he let this drag out and turns it down. I'm not in that camp, but I bet the shine will be off him in Knoxville if he turns us down again.
